My name is Andre Battah. I am a Canadian-British educator, strategist, and traveler — currently based in Bangkok after 25 years of living and working across the world.
I spent 20 years as an educator, specializing in Sports and Leisure Education. That experience gave me something that no amount of travel research could — an understanding of how to present information so that people feel empowered, not overwhelmed. How to take complexity and make it accessible. How to meet someone where they are and bring them somewhere clearer.
At the same time, I was traveling. Extensively, persistently, and with genuine curiosity about everything I encountered — the new senses, the unfamiliar rhythms, the way people behave differently depending on where they are in the world. I was absorbing all of it.
And I noticed something. All the information about travel — about points, about programs, about how to fly Business Class without paying Business Class prices — was out there. But nobody was explaining it. Nobody was sitting down with a real traveler and walking them through it clearly, personally, and without an agenda.
Le Travelogist is my answer to that gap.

I am Canadian-British, multilingual — English, French, Spanish, Polish, and German — and have spent the past 25 years living in different parts of the world before settling in Bangkok approximately two years ago. The languages are not credentials. They are the natural result of a life built around genuine curiosity about other cultures and the people who inhabit them.
The 20 years in education were spent not in theory but in practice — teaching real people in real environments, understanding how they learn, what makes information land, and what makes it disappear. That understanding is the foundation of every client interaction at Le Travelogist.
